Well the votes are in, and it appears that the forum is green, too! The colour blind people who visit the site thank all who voted for telling them (out of all the avaliable options) which is the mose prevalant colour on this site. Three cheers for green! |

Well here I am. An actual blog. How odd. Anyway, there's a reason to this blog, and the reason is not actually to entertain you all (all three of you). The reason for this blog is because I happen to feel like talking about my latest... well I'm loath to call it a project, for fear that it may just be one; but I'm lacking for another name to give it. Let us just call it 'the latest thing that I feel like doing'. I am, as the title suggests, pulling my shit together. I don't know if it's some vague maturing of myself, or just an odd mood that I'm in, but either way, I'm starting to sort my stuff out, and get everything in order. I'm planning on doing it in several stages, too, which may or may not change as I progress. Anyway, I'm doing it, and I think that I may be better off for it. |

The site is officially green! At a whopping 80% of the vote, the site has been voted green! This stunning outcome astounded the 20% who said the site looked Good, and didn't astound anyone who thought the site looked bad. This is mainly due to the fact that NO-ONE said the site looked bad. Huzzah! |

Good evening, fine fellows, and soon to be loyal readers. Many people may be wondering what it means when one says 'the science of music'. Do I intend to discuss only the particular frequencies and modulations produced in the guise of music, and handily measured on any standard oscilloscope? Will I be discussing the chemical disturbances created in the brain by sound waves which allow you to 'enjoy' particular styles of music, while not 'enjoying' others? Shall I be discussing the histories and origins of so called 'contemporary music'? It is correct to wonder how I will be approaching the idea of discussing music scientifically, yet nigh impossible for people of your meagre intellect (Oh, don't worry. I'm not calling you stupid. Only stupider than me. Most of the world's populace has far less intelligence than me, however, so try not to let it concern you overly much) to guess, or even understand how I will be approaching the issue. The main issue here is that people have such confused preconceptions about the meanings of words such as "music" and "science". Some people may argue (futile to do so, I may add) that some of the explanations that I offer may not actually seem to be "scientific". This, of course, is incorrect. |

Good evenin' fine folk! Well... morning. Yes, that's right, morning! I'm actually awake before midday, and not due to having not gone to bed, either! It's fricking crasy! Ok, that didn't work. I'll try to do the intro again. Good day, fine folk! How are we all today? Well? I hope so. Well actually, I'm not sure if I care... at other times I might not, but for the moment I'm awake, and chirpy. Like a bird. Except with less feathers. So with my jolly likeness to birds this morn, let us say that I may actually care today about your welbeing. It occurs to me that you can't actually answer, anyway, so it may be that such speculation over whether I care about the welbeing of people who I won't know have read this might be vaguely pointless. Reguardless, I continue on, although I do so in the extention of this article/blog, so for you to read said continuation, you may have to click the little link which says "Read more". I don't know as of yet if it will be worth you while to click said link, but such is the way of things that are this way. |

Another update (hurrah!). I've started adding registerd content to the site. This is stuff that you can onloy get at if registerd and logged in. This is why I call it registered content. The forums, sadly, do not work with the same registration. That is to say, you have to sign up on both the main site (this thing) and the forums seperately. At the moment, there's no real way around this, and if I could have the two linked, I would. But they aren't, and at the end of the day, I'm not really too concerned with it. I'm also looking at, at some point, setting up a comment system on articles, too. Anyway, there's reason now for one to register on both the main site and the forums. Do so, and enjoy. |
