I have noticed that there are a large amount of people on the Internet who seem generally confused as to how the Internet works, and where is good or safe to visit. These people who find the Internet confusing are generally labelled 'newbies', 'newbs', 'nubs', or most commonly 'n00bs'. The Internet (otherwise known as 'the interweb', 'the net', or 'the web') is a massive collection of 'Web Pages' (often grouped together to crudely form 'Web Sites'), Instant Message (or IM) communications (sometimes labels as 'chat'), and general storage. While the Internet encompasses more than this, we will not delve into much more.
Some people are new to the Internet, while others have been long time Internet users, who have lost touch. As it's easier to explain to people who have prior knowledge, I have compiled this comprehensive list of what has changed on the Internet in the last couple of years. Without too much further ado, here is that list: - Google owns the world. - Websites have become increasingly less useful in lieu of trying to make everyone pay for everything. - Chat communities have doubled their bot quota. It is now approximately 5 bots to every real person. - Almost EVERYONE now feels a need to constantly complain about everything on blog sites. Now for only 5 easy payments on $29.99 you can buy Bob's full guide to the Internet It's practically the same thing as this post, but in bigger type, and repeated a lot. |
