Well here I am. An actual blog. How odd. Anyway, there's a reason to this blog, and the reason is not actually to entertain you all (all three of you). The reason for this blog is because I happen to feel like talking about my latest... well I'm loath to call it a project, for fear that it may just be one; but I'm lacking for another name to give it. Let us just call it 'the latest thing that I feel like doing'.

I am, as the title suggests, pulling my shit together. I don't know if it's some vague maturing of myself, or just an odd mood that I'm in, but either way, I'm starting to sort my stuff out, and get everything in order. I'm planning on doing it in several stages, too, which may or may not change as I progress. Anyway, I'm doing it, and I think that I may be better off for it.

Stage 1 - Sleeping Patterns

Now this one I've almost fully achived, although I feel it is a work in progress. I've decided to start pulling my sleeping patterns into something which vaguely resembles 'normal'. I've started going to bed earlier and thus waking up earlier. I had to have 2 tries at my push into propper patterns. My first attempt was going well untill I accidentally got distracted installing this new site, and stayed up far too long. More recently, however, I've had better luck.

For the past week or so, I've been consistantly waking up before midday, and not only just before midday, either. Most days i'll wake up at approximately 8AM, and on occasion I've been waking up with, or even just before, dawn. I'm talking like 5-6AM. This, I take as a positive step, becasue i'm not needing to rely on my alarm to wake me up to go somewhere, and it means that I can comfortably sleep in for even up to a couple of hours, and still be awake again by 8.

I'm yet to see how long these patterns will last, but they seem pretty comfortable at the moment. Huzzah.
